The Tambellup Ni/Cu project is located in the south west of WA approximately 270km from Perth and 100km north of Albany (Figure 1). It was acquired by Falcon because of its interpreted analogy to the Voisey’s Bay Ni project in Canada.

The results from this work confirm the previous anomalism, and have generated 9 targets. These anomalies are generally of a low tenor, and track the major structures. There appears to be a mafic source generating the anomalism, although it may be affected by preferential weathering in the structural corridors. Falcon is reviewing options for this project.
